Area of shaded portion=Area of sector-Area of Right angled triangle.

Area of sector= $\bold{\dfrac{π×(7cm)²}{4}}$

=38.5cm²

Area of triangle:$\bold{\dfrac{1}{2} ×(7cm)×(7cm)=24.5cm²}$

Thus Area of shaded portion = (38.5−24.5)cm²

$\:\:\:\:\:\:\:\:\:\:\:\:\:\:\:\:\:\:\:\:\:\:\:\:\:\:$ =14cm²
