Find the area of parallelogram.
2. A parallelogram has a base of 135 dm. The corresponding height is 6 dm. Find the area
of parallelogram in square metres.​

Area of parellelogram = Base * Height

= 135dm * 6dm

= 810 dm^2

= 810 * (0.1m)^2

[Since dm = decimetre = 0.1 metre]

= 8.10 m^2

GIVEN :

Base of parallelogram = 135 dm = 13.5 m

Height of parallelogram = 6 dm = 0.6 m

TO FIND :

Area of parallelogram = ?

FORMULA USED HERE :

Area of parallelogram = Base × Height

CALCULATION :

Area of parallelogram = 13.5 × 0.6

= 8.1 m^2
