Let ABC be right angle triangle at B.
then BC = √(AC² - AB²) = √ (6724 - AB²) cm
as AC = 82 cm
Area Δ = 1/2 * AB * √(6724 - AB²)
If AB is very small like 0.1 cm, then BC will be 81.9999, but the area will be small like 4.1 cm²
If AB = BC then each = AC/√2.
Area = 1/2 * AC² / 2 = 1, 681 cm²
This is the maximum area possible with the hypotenuse and occurs when ABC is Isosceles.
