ANSWER:-

Area of rectangular plot is 440 m2

Length of rectangular plot is 22 m

Let b is the breadth of rectangular plot

As area of rectangle A = Length × Breadth

Length × Breadth = 440 m2

22 x b = 440

b = 440/22

b = 20

Perimeter P = 2(Length + Breadth)

P = 2(22 + 20) = 2(42) = 84 m

Hence breadth is 20 m and perimeter is 84 m

Given:-

  • Area of rectangular plot = 440 m²
  • Length of rectangular plot 22 m

To Find:-

  • Breadth of the rectangular plot
  • Perimeter of the rectangular plot

Solution:-

Let Breadth of the rectangular plot be x

Area of rectangle = l × b

440 m² = 22 × x

440/22 = x

20 m = x

or x = 20 m

Perimeter of rectangular plot = 2( l + b )

= 2 (22 + 20)

= 2 × 42

= 84 m
