Given:

Diameter of the circle is 70 cm

To Find:

The circumference of the circle.

Solution:

We know that,

circumference of a circle = 2πr

π = $\frac{22}{7}$

Also,

Diameter is twice the length of the radius of a circle.

⇒D = 2r

   70 = 2r

   r = $\frac{70}{2}$ = 35

Now, in order to find the circumference,

circumference  = 2πr = 2 x $\frac{22}{7}$ x 35 = 2 x 22 x5 = 220cm

Hence, the circumference of a circle with a diameter of 70cm is 220cm.
