Find the co -ordinate or the image of (3,1) under reflection in x axis followed by reflection in the line x=1

the y-axis is the point (-x,y). Reflect over the y = x: When you reflect a point across the line y = x, the x-coordinate and y-coordinate change places. If you reflect over the line y = -x, the x-coordinate and y-coordinate change places and are negated (the signs are changed).

Answer is (3, 3) it is very easy.. plot (3, 1) in graph then change the sign of ordinate to make it reflected point.. use x=1 which means absicca is 1 remove 1and the point will be 3, 3
