Volume of cuboid= length x breath x height

= 8 x 6 x 3

=144m^3

Cost of digging the pit= 144 x Rs 30

= 4320 Rs

\huge\bold\red{ANSWER}

TOTAL SURFACE AREA OF CUBOID = 2(lb + bh + lh)

T.S.A = 2[(8×6)+(6×3)+(3×8)]

T.S.A =2(48 + 18 + 24)

T.S.A =2 × 90

T.S.A  = {180m}^{2}

COST OF DIGGING = 180 × 30

= RUPEES . 5400

Akansha1437: But in this question we have to find the cost of DIGGING. Therefore we have to find the volume only
Ashita1512: NOW VOLUME WILL GIVE U FOR WHOLE BUT TSA MEANS THE WALLS ONLY
Ashita1512: WE ARE DIGGING THE MUD FROM IT WALLS
Akansha1437: But we dont have to find the cost of Digging not just walls
Akansha1437: We have find the cost of digging
Ashita1512: SUPPOSE WE ARE DIGGING MUD SO WE WILL DIG ONLY IT WALLS NOT THE WHOLE SURFACE
