Find the cost of levelling the ground in the form of a triangle with sides 16m, 12m and 2m at rs4 per square meter.

Let a= 16m, b= 12m, c= 2m.
Now, semi-perimeter = (a+b+c )/2 = (16+12+2)/2 =30/2 = 15m

Now, area of triangle = square root [s(s-a) (s-b) (s-c)] = 15 X 1 X 3 X 13 = 24 square metre

Therefore, cost of levelling 24 square metre area @ Rs. 4/square metre = 24 X4= Rs. 96
