It is given that ,
Dimensions of the tank :
Length ( l ) = 3m
Breadth ( b ) = 2m
height ( h ) = 1.5 m
Total surface area = 2( lb + bh + lh )
= 2 [ 3 ×2 + 2 × 1.5 + 3 × 1.5 ]
= 2 ( 6 + 3 + 4.5 )
= 2 × 13.5
= 27 m²
Cost of painting 1 sq metre = Rs 20
Cost of painting 27 square meters
= 20 × 27
= Rs 540
