y = x^x  \\ =e^{x.logx} \\

now differentiate with respect to x 
\frac{dy}{dx} =e^{x.logx}.\frac{d(xlogx)}{dx} \\ =e^{x.logx}.({x\frac{logx}{dx}+logx.\frac{dx}{dx})} \\= e^{x.logx}(1+logx)
