Let us consider the 65-85.
Lower limt = 65
Uppr limit = 85

Difference between the upper limit and the lower limit = 85 - 65 = 20.
Hence, the answer is 20.

khushichiya: How did you know that 65-85 is both, the median and modal class?
soumili16303: I have just given the difference between the upper limit and the lower limit of the class 65-85.

Answer:

20

Step-by-step explanation:

Class                     Frequency          cf

65 - 85                       4                     4

85-105                        5                   5+4=9

105 - 125                    13                  9+13=22

125 - 145                    20                 22+20=42

145 - 165                    14                   42+14=56

165 - 185                    7                    56+7 =63

185-205                    4                     63+4=67

From this table we can see that the frequency is maximum in class 125 - 145.

So, Modal class = 125-145

Lower limit of modal class = 125

n = sum of all frequencies = 4+5+13+20+14+7+4 =67

\frac{n}{2} =\frac{67}{2}=33.5

Cf just greater than 33.5 is 42

Class of cf 42 is 125 - 145

So, Median class =125-145

Upper limit of median class = 145

Difference between the upper limit of the median class and the lower limit of the modal class = 145=125 = 20

Hence the difference between the upper limit of the median class and the lower limit of the modal class is 20
