P(x) = 2x2-4x+3 = 0

a = 2, b = -4, c = 3

D = b2-4ac

=
 { - 4}^{2}  - 4 \times 2 \times 3 \\  \\ 16 - 24 =  - 8
d < 0
It means that the given equation has no real roots.
