Given points,

→  (-8/2, 2)   ⇒   (-4, 2)

→  (2/5, 2)

If two points (x₁, y₁) and (x₂, y₂) are given, we use the formula given below.

√[(x₂ - x₁)² + (y₂ - y₁)²]

Here,

→  x₁ = - 4

→  x₂ = 2/5

→  y₁ = y₂ = 2

So,

    √[(x₂ - x₁)² + (y₂ - y₁)²]

⇒  √[(2/5 - (- 4))² + (2 - 2)²]

⇒  √[(2/5 + 4)² + 0²]

⇒  √[(2/5 + 20/5)²]

⇒  √[((2 + 20) / 5)²]

⇒  √[(22 / 5)²]

⇒  22 / 5

Hence the answer is  22/5  units.
