Distance between two points (x_{1},y_{1}) \:\: and\:\: (x_{2},y_{2}) =  \sqrt{(x_{2}-x_{1})^{2} +(y_{2}-y_{1})^{2}

Distance between (3,-2) and origin (0,0) is :
= √(0-3)²+(0-(-2))²
= √(-3)²+2²
= √9+4
= √13 units
