We have to find the distance travelled, if the circumference of the wheel is 2.1 m when it completes 200 revolutions.

solution : each revolution, distance covered by wheel = circumference of wheel = 2.1 m

So distance travelled by the wheel = circumference of wheel × number of revolutions

= 2.1 m × 200 revolutions

= 420 m

therefore total distance covered by the wheel is 420 m.

Given : Find the distance travelled, if the circumference of the wheel is 2.1 m.

To find : What eill. be the distance covered when it completes 200 revolutions.

Concept :

  1. We know that "Revolution" means one full round.
  2. As per this question, for each revolution the wheel covers 2.1 meters.

Formula :

Distance covered = Distance covered in one revolution × Total number of revolution.

Calculations :

→ Distance covered = 2.1 (200)

→ Distance covered = 2.1 × 200

Distance covered = 420 m

Therefore, 420 m is the distance covered by the wheel in 200 revolutions.
