b. the energy used in 1 hour at the rate of 1 joule per second is 1 kWh. 1kWh = 3.6 * 10 raised to the power 6 joules
c. power of 4 devices in 30 days = 100w x 4 = 400w
time taken by 4 devices = 10 x 30 x 4 = 1200 h
so, energy = 400w x 1200h
= 480000 kWh
