GIVEN:-

A line passes through the point

( - 3 , 5 )

also, it is parallel to y - axis

SOLUTION:-

It is given that the line is parallel to y-axis

hence , it is of the form x = k , where k is constant.

and , this line passes through

( - 3 , 5 )

hence x - coordinate is -3

therefore, equation of the line is

x = -3

=> x + 3 = 0
