let height = x
hence base = 2x+4
area of the triangle = 1/2*base*height
=1/2*(2x+4)*x
now height = 11cm
base = 26cm
hence area of the triangle = 1/2*26*11
=13*11 = 143cm^2
hence base = 2x+4
area of the triangle = 1/2*base*height
=1/2*(2x+4)*x
now height = 11cm
base = 26cm
hence area of the triangle = 1/2*26*11
=13*11 = 143cm^2
