A = Amplitude of oscillation
w = angular frequency of the oscillation
t = time
So, differentiation of equation on both sides with respect to time
We get,
dx / dt = A cos wt * d(wt)/dt = Aw cos wt.....(chain rule)
Therefore,
velocity (v) = Aw cos wt
