 {\huge {\mathfrak {\orange {Answer :-}}}}

2x^2 - 13x + 15

= 2x^2 - 3x - 10x + 15

= x(2x - 3) - 5(2x - 3)

= (x - 5)(2x - 3)

➡️ Factors are (x - 5) and (2x - 3)

The factors of given equation 2x² - 13x + 15 are (x - 5) (2x- 3)

Given:

2x² - 13x + 15

To find:

Find the factors of 2x² - 13x + 15

Solution:

To find the factors of given equation we will use factorization method

Given 2x² - 13x + 15

Split the term 13x as - 10x - 3x   [ ∵ 10 × 3 = 2 × 15 = 30 ]

⇒ 2x² - 10x - 3x + 15

Take 2x and - 3  as common

⇒ 2x(x - 5) - 3(x - 5)

Now take (x-5) as common

⇒ (x - 5) (2x- 3)

Therefore,

The factors of given equation 2x² - 13x + 15 are (x - 5) (2x- 3)
