Find the force of limiting friction between an iron block and horizontal surface, if coefficient of
between block and surface is 0.08 and the mass of block is 60 kg (if g = 10 m/s2)
(B) 48 N
(C) 600 N
(D) 60 N
(A) 480 N
A solid weighs 30 N when dipped in water and weighs 40 N in air. The density of the solid is
(A) 4 kg m-
(B) 4000 kg m-
4000
- kg m-3
(C)
kg m-3
32.
The weight of a body in air is 100 N. How much will it weigh in water, if it displaces 400 cc of
water? (g = 9.8 m/s)
(A) 90 N
(B) 94 N
(C) 98 N
(D) 96.08 N

Answer:

Relative density= weight of object in air /weight pf obkect air-weight of object in water

Relative denaity=40/40-30

Relative denaity=40/10

Relative density=4

And we also know that, relative density =density of object /density of water

4=density of object /1000kg/m^3

So,density of object=4000kg/m^3
