Write the given number as product

prime numbers ,

288 = 2 × 2 × 2 × 2 × 2 × 3 × 3

624 = 2 ×2 × 2 × 2 × 3 × 13

Therefore ,

HCF ( 288 , 624 ) = 2 ×2×2×2×3

= 48

you know how we get HCF we let that number and first divide the smallest number which is divided to that number like this


288=> 2×2×2×2×2×3×3


hear we multiply again and again Till then we can not solve it


same we solve the second number


624=> 2×2×2×2×3×13

Then,


We found in both equations common 2×2×2×2×3


So, if we multiply it we get our HCF

Our HCF is 48
