find the height of a cone whose diameter is 30m and slant height is 25m

r=d/2

r=30/2=15

l=25

l=√h^2+r^2

h=√l^2-r^2

=√625-225

=√400
=20

so the height of cone is 20 m

we know that slant height (l) of a cone =√height ka square +radius ka square
25=√(15)^+h^ (radius is half of diameter)
by squaring on both sides
625=225+h^
h^=625-225
h^=400
h=20m
so height of cone is 20m
