Find the initial velocity of a car which is stopped in 10 seconds by applying

brakes . The retardation due to brakes is 2.5 meter per second square.​

t = 10sec

v = 0

a = -2.5

v = u + at

0 = u -2.5 x 10

-u = - 25

u = 25

As v= final velocity =0 ,a= retardation = -2.5 m/s^2 ,t=10,u=?

So

0= u- 2.5×10

u=25
