Find the least number which when divided by 36.40.48 and 54,leaves 11 as the remainder in each case.

We have to find out the L.C.M of 36,40,48,54=1380 now to fulfill the condition that by dividing the number remainder will be 11 . so we have to add 11 to 1380 .hence the requiered number =1380+11=1391

54 = 2*3*3*3
lcm of 36,40,48,54 = 2*2*2*2*3*3*3*5= 2160
and each case we get remainder 11
so 2160+11 = 2171
