A line from centre to a chord bisects it at 90
So ,we have a righ triangle with radius as hypotenuse and perpendicular of 6 cm.
Apply phythagoras th
(10)^2=(6)^2+x^2
We get x^2=8^2
So x=8 length of chord =2x=2*8=16
