SolutioN :

Formula Used :

  • Hypotenuse² = Base² + Perpendicular²

 \\ \\

Calculating the Value of x :

 ➺ \qquad \; Hypotenuse² = Base² + Perpendicular²

 \\ ➺ \qquad \; x² = 8² + 15²

 \\ ➺ \qquad \; x² = 64 + 225

 \\ ➺ \qquad \; x² = 289

 \\ ➺ \qquad \; x = √289

 \\ ➺ \qquad \; {\pmb{\orange{\underline{\underline{\frak{ x = 17 \; cm }}}}}}

 \\ \\

Therefore :

Value of x in this Triangle is 17 cm .
