angle CBD = 65°

angle ACB = 30°

To find :-

angle ABC or x

angle BAC or y

Solution :-

We know that,

Sum of linear pair of angles = 180°

Therefore,

angle ABC + angle CBD = 180°

angle ABC + 65° = 180°

angle ABC = 180° - 65°

angle ABC = 115°

x = 115°

According to angle sum property,

sum of all angles of triangle is 180°

Therefore In ∆ ABC,

angle ABC + angle ACB + angle BAC = 180°

angle ABC + 30° + 115° = 180°

angle ABC + 145° = 180°

angle ABC = 35°

y = 35°
