first term (a) = 7..... and common difference (d) = 6...... last term (l) = 241......,

We know that, l = a+(n-1)d, where ‘n’ is no. of terms.....

241 = 7+(n-1)6.......

241 = 7+6n-6......

241 = 6n+1.......

241-1 = 6n.........

240 = 6n..........

n = 240/6.......

n = 40.........


Therefore, n = 20 for the middle term.........


Then, a+(n-1)d need to be known for the middle term.......



= 7+(20-1)6...........

= 7+(19)6......

= 7+114........

= 121........




Therefore, the middle term of this AP is ‘121’
