using the formula,

nth term=a+(n-1)d

i.e. 10/3 = -1 + (n-1) (-11/6) ..( as d= -5/6 -1)

or.. n-1= (1+10/3)/(-11/6)

or n= -(13/3)/(11/6) +1

or n= -26/11 + 1

or n= -15/11.

but this cant be true, n cant be a fraction

(10/3)=-1+(n-1)*(1/6),

(10/3)+1=(n-1)*(1/6),

(13/3)*6=n-1,

26=n-1,

n=27.

therefore,

total no of terms=27.
