Find the PCES (problem, cause, effect and solution) in the following letter:
Dear Editor:
As a first generation American, with Parents from a Latin American country, I feel a certain responsibility to those currently fleeing their home countries and seeking better circumstances in the United States. It is beyond frightening to literally gather what you can carry, and leave all that you’ve known, your family knows, to start over. No guaranteed of anything. No job, no shelter, no food.
Although I consider my family lucky, arriving with a relative sponsorship in the 1950’s, I know my parents worked extra hard. My father was dish washer, my mother worked in a factory.
So, I don’t take these issues lightly, it’s important we stand together in protest when injustice of our citizenship happens. That said, though, I urge the media and investigative reporters, who are now being referred as ‘the opposition party,” by a chief advisor, to not divert all their attention away from the main issue.
Russia control over the U.S. government. And what exactly happened in the 2016 election, and what ties hold Mr. Trump’s alliance to Putin.
Personally, I believe what's been going on with this Administration is all a distraction to keep the Russian connection out of the news and maybe some other nefarious thing he intends to do?
Russian forces continue their attacks in the area of Avdiivka in Donbas, with the use of heavy artillery and mortars, according to the Anti-Terrorist Operation Headquarters. Russian troops shelling Ukrainian position from Donetsk in January 30.
I usually don’t follow unfounded ideas, rather rely on fact-checked articles, but I can’t close my eyes, and shut up when I see my beloved country is being high-jacked without much of a fight from the media. Certainly, I’m not alone in this view.
Yes. We should respond to each and everything this Administration does, and hold them accountable. But we, as people can’t run around, and protesting, to those who will never listen. It’s time to expose the truths, and fight like hell for this republic.
Sincerely,
Myriam Cader Sargent, concerned U.S. citizen
