Hey Mate!!

Let the sides of the rectangle be 4x and 9x.

Area of rectangle = length × breadth

→ 144 = 4x × 9x

→ 144 = 36x²

→ 144 ÷ 36 = x²

→ 4 = x²

→ x = √4

x = 2 metres

By substituting x,

Length = 9x = 9 × 2 = 18 m

Breadth = 4 × 2 = 8 m

Perimeter of Rectangle = 2(length + breadth)

→ 2(18 + 8)

→ 2 × 26
