length of a rectangle = 40 cm.

breadth of a rectangle = ?

diagonal of a rectangle = 41 cm.

breadth  = (diagonal - length).

b =  √81 = 9 cm.

perimetre of arectangle = 2 (l+b)

p = 2 ( 40 + 9)

p = 2(49)

p = 98 cm.

∴ perimeter of a rectangle = 98 cm.
