Answer:

triangle is a right angled triangle

by Pythagoras theorem

hypotenuse ²=base²+height²

=12²+4²

=144+16

hypotenuse ² =160

hypotenuse=√160

hypotenuse=4√10cm

perimeter of triangle=sum of all sides

perimeter of triangle=12+4+4√10

perimeter of triangle=16+4√10cm
