{\bold{\huge{\textbf{\red{Solution}}}}}

given:

(x1,y1)= (0,4)

(x2,y2)= (2,0)

m1,m2 =2,3 respectively.

{\bold{\textbf{\purple{formula:}}}}

{\bold{\frac{x_1×m_2+x_2×m_1}{m_1+m_2}}}

{\bold{\frac{y_1×m_2+y_2×m_1}{m_1+m_2}}}

Putting values in formula:

for x:

{\rightarrow{\frac{0×2+2×3}{2+3}}}

{\rightarrow{\red{\boxed{\frac{6}{5}}}}}

now for y:

{\rightarrow{\frac{4×2+0×3}{2+3}}}

{\rightarrow{\red{\boxed{\frac{8}{5}}}}}

so the points which divide the line at 2:3 are ({\bold{\large{\green{\frac{6}{5}, \frac{8}{5}}}}})
