Newspapers being the cheapest and most common mode of mass communication, I .............. ( Name ) , a resident of .................( Place ) wish to use its full potential in drawing the attention of the Municipal Committee towards the necessity of a children's park in the locality.
Our locality has no children's park . As you are well aware of the importance of sports in a child's curriculum , the lack of a park prevents children from playing . They have to opt to play in the streets which is not at all safe . Moreover , children's park will not only be beneficial to children but also the adults as they can also refresh themselves by going in there .
We have repeatedly requested the Municipal Committee for the same . But repeated visits to the concerned authorities have fallen in deaf ears .
Above mentioned are the views of a laymen whose only purpose in writing this letter is to gear the concerned authorities into action, I hope my letter finds some space in the columns of your esteemed newspaper .
