Hi ,

A leap year has 366 days and there

are 52 Sundays and 2 days more .

i.e ,

A leap year = 366 days

= ( 52 × 7 + 2 ) days

All the possible outcomes of 2 days

are = { ( Sunday , Monday ) , ( monday , Tuesday ) , ( Tuesday , Wednesday ),( Thursday , Friday ) , ( Friday , Saturday ) , ( Saturday , Sunday ) }

Therefore ,

Total possible outcomes = 7 --( 1 )

Now , favourable outcomes = { ( Sunday , Monday ) , ( Saturday , Sunday ) }

Number of favourable

outcomes = 2 -----( 2 )

P( 53 ) = ( 2 )/( 1 )

= 2/7

I hope this helps you.
