P( A ) = 1/3 = P( B )

P( B/A ) = 1/4

i ) P( A and B ) = P( B/A ) P( A )

= ( 1/4 )( 1/3 )

= 1/12 -----( 1 )

ii ) P( A/B ) = P( A and B )/P( B )

= ( 1/12 )/( 1/3 )

= ( 1/12 ) ( 3/1 )

= 3/12

= 1/4
