Answer:

Let: The Quadratic Polynomial ax^2 + bx + c

Given: α = 2, β = -1

⇒ Sum of Zeroes (α + β) = 2 - 1 = - (-1)/1 = -b/a

⇒ Product of Zeroes (αβ) = (2) (-1) = -2/1 = c/a

∴ a = 1, b = -1, c = -2

Substituting a,b,c values on the Eq 1 (ax^2 + bx + c), we get

= 1x^2 - x + (-2)

= x^2 - x - 2
