matked price =
330 + 270 = 600

now discount is on marked price so
270÷600 × 100 will be discount rate
ans is 45%

Selling\:price\:of\:an\:article=Rs.\:330\\\\Discount=Rs.\:270\\\\and\:Marked\:Price=x\\\\SP=MP-Discount\\\\\implies330=x-270\\\\\implies330+270=x\\\\\implies x=600\\\\\Discount\:Percent=\frac{D}{MP}\times100\\\\=\frac{270}{600}\times100\\\\=\frac{270}{6}\\\\=45\%\\\\\boxed{The\:rate\:of\:discount=45\%}
