equation:

2SO_2 (g)+ O_2(g) \rightarrow \: 2SO_3

so the rate of this reaction will be

  - \frac{d(SO_2)}{dt}  =  -  \frac{d(O_2)}{dt}  =  \frac{d(SO_3)}{dt}
