Since according to remainder theorem if p(x) divided by x-a then remainder is equal to p(a).

Put value of x is equal to a.

So remainder is equal to:
p(a) = a^3 - a*a^2 + 6 - a
p(a) = a^3 - a^3 + 6 - a
p(a) = 6 - a.

Hope it's helpful to u.

The remainder will be 6.This will be done as follows:
Divisor:x-a=0
x=a.
Now substitute this in dividend to get the remainder.
3x-2a+6-a=3a-2a+6-a=6.
This method is called remainder theorem.
