Length of rectangle = 6.4cm

Width (Breadth) of rectangle = 2.5cm

First, find the area of the rectangular garden.

6.4cm × 2.5cm = 16cm²

Now that we the area of the square is 16cm² (because it is the same a that of the rectangle), take note that all the sides of a square are equal.

To calculate the side of the square, square root the area as the formula is Area = Side × Side (or Side²).

√16cm² = 4cm

Hence, the square garden has sides of 4cm.
