then, area of trapezium = 1/2*sum of its parallel sides*height

10 = 1/2*x-1 + x*4

10 = 2x-1*2

10 = 2{x-1}

x-1 = 5

x = 5+1

x = 6m

one side = 6m

other side = 6-1 = 5m
