hi

aim : to find the smallest number by whiich 2400is to be multiplied to get a perfect square and also the sqaure root of the resulting number

firstly prime factorisation of 2400

2400 =
 2 x 2 x 2 x 2 x 2 x 3 x 5 x 5

this can be written as

2400 = 2
² * 2² *2 * 3*5²

we see that 3 and 2 are not in pair

= 3*3

=6

∴ 6 is the the smallest number by which 2400is to be multiplied to get a perfect square

2400 *6  = 14400

√14400 = 120
