Answer:

Length of train = 50 m

Length of platform = 200 m

Speed of train = 90 km/h

⇒ S = 90 × ⁵/₁₈

⇒ S = 5 × 5

⇒ S = 25 m/s

→ Total distance = Length of train + Length of platform

⇒ D = 50 + 200 m

⇒ D = 250 m

We have speed and distance , we need to find time ,

\bigstar\ \; \sf Speed=\dfrac{Distance}{Time}★ Speed=

Time

Distance

:\implies \sf S=\dfrac{D}{t}:⟹S=

t

D

:\implies \sf 25=\dfrac{250}{t}:⟹25=

t

250

:\implies \sf t=\dfrac{250}{25}:⟹t=

25

250

:\implies \sf \pink{t=10\ s}\ \; \bigstar:⟹t=10 s ★

So , Time taken to cross a platform of 200 m is 10 s
