We can find it by 2 methods. Column method and Diagonal method.
column method:
y^2. 2xy. x^2
5*5. 2*5*2. 2*2
25. 20. 4
(carry the tens digit to the next cell i.e. 2 and add it)
25+2=27
Hence, 52^2=2704
column method:
