so the ones digit in square root will ne 2 or 8

no remove two digits from right

= 17

4² = 16 < 17

5² = 25 >17

so we will take 4 for tens digit (bcz 4²<17)

now , squarr root will be 42 or 48

42² = 1764

48² = 2304 > 1764

The square root of 1264is 42
