Given, 
Area of trapezium = 4.2m^2
Height = 280 cm = 2.8m
Sum of lengths = 2 * 4.2/2.8 = 3m

Area = 0.5*(sum of parallel sides)*h

Therefore,

Sum of parallel sides = (4.2*100*100*2)/280 cm

= 300 cm

= 3m
