Solution :-

Given,

Area of trapezium = 4.2 m²

Height = 280 cm

= 2.8 m

Sum of lengths = 2 × 4.2 / 2.8

= 3 m

Hope it Helps !!!!

\large{\underline{\boxed{ Given}}}

Area of trapezium =

4.2 {m}^{2}

Height of trapezium = 280 cm or 2.8m

\large{\underline{\boxed{To find}}}

Sum of the lengths of bases of trapezium

\large{\underline{\boxed{Solution}}}

The area of trapezium is given by :-

\boxed{\sf{A . of trapezium =\frac{1}{2}  \times sum \: of \: parallel \: side \:  \times h }}

 \frac{4.2 \times 2}{2.8}  = sum \: of \: parallel \: side

sum of parallel side = 3 cm

hence, sum of length of bases = 3 m
